MegaKenya

Welcome

Their names are Musa, Suzan, Paul, Peninah, Parsanka, Mercy, Benson, Florence, Daniel and Joshua and are aged between twenty-two and twenty-seven.

Anonymous heroes, they are fighting for the improvement of standards of living for this disadvantaged generation.

With Maasai origins, they endured the initiation rites of their customary laws  and they carried the colours of their ethnic identity.
Whilst wishing to study.

Forced into exile from his family, too poor to offer a good education, Parsanka Sayianka went to Nairobi to have a chance to work and to finance his studies.
Founding Chairman of the MEGA Association , his action was aimed to finding a livelihood for himself and other young Maasai in his  situation.
Thus was born the MEGA Association, which offers artistic performances to allow more than one hundred young people to survive in Nairobi whilst studying.
Today an engineer and director of the NGO (non-governmental organization) Kenya Wings for Earth, Parsanka has returned to Maasai land, within his community of origin, in order to provide his expertise and to mobilize more than ever with his MEGA team, fighting for a university education for these disadvantaged, although fiercely motivated, young people.
